Therm-A-Rest Polar Ranger -20F/-30C

Developed with polar explorer Eric Larsen, the Polar Ranger™ -20F/-30C down sleeping bag is made for the coldest places on earth. The Polar Ranger received the Editor's Choice Award from Backpacker Magazine. The lightest and most feature-rich sleeping bag in its class is now even better. The interior features a state-of-the-art chamber construction and highly compressible, PVC-free 800-cuin Nikwax Hydrophobic Down™. This advanced down stays fluffy and warm longer, even in the most challenging conditions like those found on expeditions in Arctic cold. They absorb 90% less moisture and dry three times faster than untreated down, which is a big advantage on longer expeditions - with drying in between. The extra light outer material and soft lining are made of 100% environmentally friendly recycled nylon. A special snorkel hood with magnetic closure further prevents heat loss, while moisture from breathing air is wicked away from the sleeping bag to maintain fluffiness. Generously spaced, overstuffed draft tubes prevent drafts. Side vents allow for individual ventilation and free movement of arms. Other features: Toe-asis™ foot warmer pocket, SynergyLink™ Connectors to connect sleeping bag and sleeping pad, internal pocket, external loops to attach a blanket or quilt for even more warmth, and a non snagging YKK® zipper.
