In addition, the scree protection edge and the rubber toe cap offer you the best possible protection. The Vibram® sole provides grip and non-slip footing. The sole has a sophisticated profile that includes a braking zone in the heel area and a climbing zone under the toes. An EVA midsole provides comfort and ensures effective cushioning. The lacing system adopted from the climbing world, which extends to the toes, guarantees the best possible fit.

With Litebase technology, Vibram vulcanizes a pre-rubberized fabric into the outsole in a unique process. This ensures that the tread lugs remain firmly anchored in the sole. The Litebase Tech sole can therefore be built much thinner at the base. Instead of 1.7 millimeters, it requires a thickness of only 0.5 to 0.9 millimeters, depending on the sole type. Soles with Litebase Tech are just as abrasion-resistant, durable and grippy as traditional Vibram soles - but weigh up to 30 percent less.
