Our rugged Puez Unisex Powertex Shell shorts provide breathable weather protection for days on the trail, and also stow compactly. When you're trekking in the mountains and (multi-day) alpine adventures in wild places, it's often a good idea to bring a pair of waterproof shorts. The Puez Shorts is made from our proprietary Powertex and withstands rain with a water column of 10,000 mm. It also has excellent breathability (MVTR: 40,000 g/m²/24h). The coated construction with fully taped seams consists of a water-repellent shell material combined with a waterproof/breathable membrane and an additional barrier coating, eliminating the need for an inner lining . We equip it with an eco-friendly DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish for added protection. Powertex has a pleasantly textured feel that feels dry against the skin. The shorts have a comfortable, plain elastic waistband that pairs well with a backpack, and a zippered back pocket that doubles as a compression pocket. Thanks to a gusset at the crotch, the slim, athletic cut offers dynamic freedom of movement. When you're not using it, it stows away super compactly. It weighs only 112 grams, less than a banana.
