The Mountain Trainer Mid GTX® by Salewa is a lightweight and robust trekkingboot for men that has been specially developed for demanding hikes in mixed and technical terrain. Made from durable suede leather and abrasion-resistant textile material, this boot offers excellent protection from the wet and optimum breathability thanks to its GORE-TEX® lining.
The innovative Bilight technology in the midsole provides two-layer cushioning and an ergonomic shape that ensures a high level of comfort and good support in the shoe, even on long hikes. The Flex Collar in the ankle area allows increased freedom of movement to the rear, which is particularly beneficial when descending with a heavy pack. In addition, the Vibram® Wrapping Thread Combi (WTC) outsole offers a stable and natural walking feel.
The patented SALEWA 3F system combines flexibility, heel hold and a blister-free fit right from the start, while the GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining ensures optimum weather protection and climate comfort. With additional features such as the reinforced rand, the Climbing Lacing for precise lacing and the Ortholite footbed for outstanding comfort, the Mountain Trainer Mid GTX® is the ideal companion for any hike.
