Salewa Lightning Carbon 240 Plus

The Lightning Carbon 240 Plus Probe is a six-piece, fold-out professional carbon fiber avalanche probe for ski touring and alpine mountaineering, where every gram saved counts. The carbon tubes with a large diameter of 13 mm provide maximum rigidity, while the probe can be quickly assembled in an emergency by means of a pull handle and automatically locking steel cable. The markings every 5 cm show you the depth of immersion, and the teardrop-shaped tip allows better and more delicate penetration of the snow. The probe can be extended with additional sections (sold separately).
