Expedition Socks
Our Expedition Sock is a quick-drying, padded sock with extra-fine merino wool and Reistex® performance yarns for alpine expeditions. The insulating, absorbent and moisture-wicking French Terry knit fabric is made largely of soft merino wool. Resistex® Bioceramic provides high thermal protection even in extremely cold conditions. In addition, the polyester fibers treated with bioceramic crystals regulate body temperature by reflecting radiated body heat in the form of FIR (Far InfraRed) rays. The Resistex® Copper yarns also provide high thermal conductivity and are antibacterial. With shin padding to protect against friction and pressure points from the shaft of higher mountain boots, 3F Wrapping construction for heel stabilization and padding to relieve the metatarsal heads.
