All day with a backpack on your back your body sweats and tries to lower its temperature. If your back and shoulders are wet with sweat, you run the risk of hypothermia. The Apex Guide puts an end to this problem with its air-permeable Dry Back Contact carrying system. The system lowers the temperature in the middle of the back and reduces sweating by reducing the contact area with the body. It also features an integrated micro ventilation system with 3D air channels that increases airflow to your back. The Apex Guide backpack has other smart solutions that make it the perfect companion for mountaineering. It's made from durable ROBIC®, a special high-strength nylon that's 60% more abrasion and tear resistant than traditional backpack nylon fabrics and can withstand heavy use. It also features a protective flap with top pocket and an external security pocket to store your avalanche shovel and probe. The padding on the top and hip belt can be removed if you need a simpler version. For functional simplicity, the magnetic closure system allows you to securely attach or detach a rope with one hand. It allows you to attach ice tools with protective overlays for the tips. Using the roll-top system, the capacity can be easily adjusted to stabilize and center the load. The proven slotted shoulder strap system allows the arms to move optimally especially when moving overhead. Other features include a parallel ski attachment and hydration system exit.
