We started with our innovative Matryx material, a patented technology for the upper made from a polyamide woven with Kevlar. This lightweight, foot-mapping material provides maximum stability and support for the foot with minimal lateral movement. Combined with a stiff full carbonoutsole and a low stack height of 6.5mm, the result is an efficient pedal stroke that transfers every gram of energy without wasting watts. The Matryxupper has an overlapping construction with a 3Dtonguedesign that provides a close, comfortable fit for all foot shapes and sizes. Two BOA® Fit System IP1 dials provide a two-way micro-adjustment for a precise fit that keeps your feet comfortable on the longest and hardest rides. A low-profile collar around the ankle offers maximum freedom of movement, and the integrated heel counter with pre-molded foam keeps the back of the foot firmly in place.
