Mammut Magic Sling 12.0

The Magic Sling 12.0 is manufactured using a completely new production process - a core of round-wound Dyneema® yarn is enclosed in an abrasion-resistant sheath. The result is an ultra-rugged round sling that does not require a load-bearing connection seam. Due to the special construction, the Magic Sling 12.0 has a significantly higher knot strength compared to conventional web slings. Due to the core-sheath construction (load-bearing core and protective sheath), the sling is also significantly less susceptible to damaging UV radiation and abrasion by rough rock does not affect the tensile strength of the sling. The Magic Sling 12.0 therefore offers the absolute maximum in safety when used for belaying or as an hourglass sling. The shell construction of the sling has been revised for the summer season 2019, so that the Magic Sling 12.0 becomes softer and more flexible.
