The Stream GTX from La Sportiva is an advanced midcutmountain shoe that was specially developed for fast hikes. This versatile hiking boot combines La Sportiva's DNA with innovative concepts and technologies from the world of mountain running. Thanks to the new GORE-TEX SURROUND® technology, the Stream GTX is not only waterproof, but also offers exceptional breathability. This is achieved thanks to the increased ventilation surface of the upper, insole and midsole, which is made of EVA and TPU perforated on the sides.
The ventilation channels along the midsole are protected by a durable Mono-Bava nylon mesh that prevents the ingress of small stones and debris. The mid-cut-shank is equipped with the Nano-Cells 2.0™ structure, which consists of highly breathable small cells and, in combination with the GORE-TEX SURROUND® system, ensures optimum breathability. The lower part of the shoe is integrated with the Stability Control System™, which provides anti-torsion stabilization and supports the ventilation channels of the GORE-TEX SURROUND® technology.
In addition, the shoe profile with the Vibram XS Trek compound offers excellent grip on hard, soft and muddy surfaces. The Stream GTX therefore guarantees breathability and comfort around the clock, no matter what conditions you are out and about in. Perfect for anyone who doesn't want to compromise when hiking.
