The innovative tension band wraps around the midsole in the front area, ensuring even tension distribution across the entire shoe. The shoe toe with rubber protection also comes from climbing technology and offers a seamless connection between the sole and shoe edge to ensure more sensitivity when climbing. The EVA midsole with "Rock Guard" platform in the toe area and a cushioning insert at the back supports the ankle when stepping on and prevents unnatural twisting.
The Vibram Idrogrip sole was specially developed for approaches and features an Impact Brake System on the heel and inside, suction nubs on the outside and a climbing zone on the toe. Combined with the waterproof Gore-Tex® membrane, this shoe offers the maximum in La Sportiva technology for maximum performance when hiking and approaching.
