Care instructions

• Cleaning: First remove mud and dirt from the shoe surface
• Always clean Haglöfs shoes with a soft sponge and lukewarm water
• After washing, dry them with a normal, clean cloth or rag
• Do not use external heat sources and do not place the cleaned shoes in the sun to dry
• Direct exposure to heat can deform the shoes
• Never wash the shoes in the washing machine
• For optimal comfort and hygiene, clean the inside of the shoes regularly with a soft brush and lukewarm water
• Remove the footbed before washing
• You can speed up the drying process, by putting newspaper in each boot or shoe, as paper absorbs much of the moisture
• Do not remove the paper until the shoes are completely dry
• Always allow shoes cleaned on the inside or outside to dry at room temperature and never use heaters or drying cabinets (excessive heat can u. U. dry out the leather and make it brittle)
• Insert a shoe tree into cleaned shoes and store them at room temperature
• Dirty shoes must always be cleaned
• Treat shoes and boots, including the laces and tongue, with a waterproofing spray before first use
• Brush nubuck and suede products with a suede brush for the typical roughened look, as soon as they are dry
• With a suede brush you can also remove light dirt
• Treat cleaned shoes and boots regularly with a waterproofing spray
• Certain agents must ideally be applied to damp surfaces, so that the waterproofing spray can penetrate the open leather pores (follow the instructions on the packaging)
• Ideally, also apply an extra protective layer of wax to shoes and boots made of nubuck and suede to counteract signs of moisture and use
• Note that this will change the color and texture of the leather. However, this is perfectly normal
