Care instructions

  • Washing instructions: 40 ºC Machine wash
  • Always close all zippers before washing
  • Use a soap-based down detergent or a small amount - approx
  • 1/3 of the recommended amount - liquid mild detergent
  • Do not use fabric softener
  • Perform 3 to 5 additional rinsing cycles after washing
  • For hand washing, we recommend that you place the product in the bathtub and rinse several times after washing
  • The product should be spun before drying in the tumble dryer
  • Dry the sleeping bag together with tennis balls at low heat level until it is completely dry
  • This process can take several hours
  • Loosen any lumps of down and loosen the down a little during and/or after drying
  • Finally, let the product air dry for one or two days
  • If you opt for professional dry cleaning, make sure that the sleeping bag is wet cleaned (solvent-based dry cleaning damages the down) and that it is thoroughly dried after washing
  • Miscellaneous: Use an inner sleeping bag and a sleeping bag cover to protect the product from dirt
  • Stuff the sleeping bag into the compression bag instead of rolling it up
  • To benefit as long as possible from the good insulating properties of the down sleeping bag, it is better to air the product instead of washing it, as the natural oils of the down (with their heat-retaining and water-repellent properties) are rinsed out a little more with each wash
  • If you do not use the sleeping bag and want to store it for a longer period of time, it is best to store it in a large bag or hang it up
  • Under no circumstances should you store it in a compression bag
  • If down is compressed over a longer period of time, this has a negative effect on the insulation properties
  • Before stowing the sleeping bag, make sure it is completely dry to prevent mould growth
