Access Spike Traction Device
The Access Spike is extremely durable and designed for all-around use, whether winter running in alpine terrain or summer hiking over isolated snowfields. Based on Black Diamond's extensive crampon experience, the Distance Spike features 14 stainless steel metal spikes with an optimized 8mm length for outstanding grip on snow and ice and improved stability on rock and hard terrain. The spikes are made of heat-treated stainless steel for outstanding strength, corrosion and wear resistance. The Access Chain has an elastomeric construction to pull over. The webbing loop at the heel assists in putting on and taking off.
