The Rock DFS II GTX from AKU are the ideal shoes for anyone who feels at home in the mountains. Whether hiking, via ferrata or technical approach - these shoes offer outstanding performance and comfort. They are an evolution of the popular Rock model and offer an improved technical fit. The suede, textile and abrasion-resistant microfiber upper is equipped with a robust rubber protection that reliably encloses and protects the foot during climbing activities.
Thanks to the asymmetric midsole construction made of EVA and PU with double density, based on the AKU Elica Natural Stride System, the biodynamic efficiency is significantly improved. This ensures a natural and comfortable running sensation, which pays off especially on long distances. The innovative Dual Fit System allows you to customize the fit: a traditional lacing system offers maximum comfort on the approach, while the quick lacing system ensures greater sensitivity and precision when climbing.
The Vibram Approach sole, equipped with the high-performance Megagrip compound, guarantees maximum grip on a wide variety of surfaces. The climbing-specific design of the sole also offers outstanding stability and safety, even on the narrowest footholds. With a lace length of 96.5 cm and a flexible insole, these shoes are perfect for challenging mountain trails and changing weather conditions, including rain.
