With ABS P.RIDE, each group member can deploy the airbags of the others and thus actively prevent both their own spillage and that of their partners. An automatic system check verifies the operational readiness. The newly developed, independent twinbags are mounted in such a way that they do not fold backwards, thus creating the largest possible area in the avalanche. The p.RIDE Base Unit was completely redesigned. Thanks to its stable back plate, the comfortable back padding and its height-adjustable and moveable hip belt, it offers a better fit and increased carrying comfort. The shoulder and hip straps are also ergonomically pre-shaped and padded. The deployment handle with integrated partner deployment is height-adjustable and can also be attached to the right shoulder strap for left-handed users. In the off-position the handle can be stowed in the shoulder strap. Thanks to the patented and proven Zip-on principle, the P.RIDE Base Unit can also be combined with all pack sacks in the Vario line.
